Bachelorette Party in Prague: A Weekend Itinerary 👑
Prague is compact, beautiful and generally easier on a group budget than many Western European capitals. It is also a city where an apartment beside Old Town Square can mean tourist crowds, noise and weak value, while a generic pub crawl can flatten everything distinctive about the weekend.
This itinerary uses New Town or Vinohrady as the base, puts the river or a private spa session on Saturday and treats Old Town as one part of the night—not the whole destination. It includes the January 2026 public-transport fares, airport route, neighbourhood trade-offs and a realistic budget in Czech koruna.

Prague is not a theme park: public drinking is restricted in parts of the centre and night quiet hours apply after 22:00. Prague City Tourism says the fine for disturbing the peace can reach €400. Keep costumes non-offensive, drink inside venues and respect residential buildings.

🏙️ New Town: easiest nightlife compromise
Look around Národní třída, Karlovo náměstí or the quieter edge of Wenceslas Square. New Town keeps the centre walkable without putting the group inside Old Town’s densest lanes. Check tram noise, lift access and whether the final walk passes through a comfortable late-night route.
🍷 Vinohrady: cafés, wine bars and sleep
Prague City Tourism describes Vinohrady as a cosmopolitan area of restaurants, wine bars and cafés. Around Náměstí Míru, Metro A and trams make the centre easy. It suits a group that wants brunch and cocktails as much as clubs.
☕ Karlín: modern food-led base
Karlín has café gardens, restaurants and a calmer evening feel east of the centre, backed by Metro B and trams. It is strong value when the group accepts a 10–20 minute transit ride to Old Town nightlife instead of walking home.
🏰 Old Town: visit it, do not default to it
Old Town is unbeatable for an early walk and poor value for many large groups: crowds, souvenir streets, nightlife noise and restricted vehicle access complicate arrivals. Stay there only when recent room reviews confirm sleep and the real bed/bathroom plan works.
Search by night tram as well as metro: metro service is not the only late option. Save the nearest stop, route home and ticket method before the first drink, and keep one licensed taxi or ride-app fallback.

🚎 Trolleybus 59 plus Metro A
From Václav Havel Airport, trolleybus 59 runs to Nádraží Veleslavín for Metro A. PID’s current guide estimates about 35 minutes to the centre and prices the 90-minute journey at 46 CZK in the app or 50 CZK on paper. The Airport Express to the main station costs 200 CZK.
🎫 Use the January 2026 ticket table
PID lists app/paper fares of 36/39 CZK for 30 minutes, 46/50 CZK for 90 minutes, 140/150 CZK for 24 hours and 340/350 CZK for 72 hours. Activate app tickets before boarding and validate paper tickets as required.
🧳 Normal luggage is included
PID says luggage up to 25 × 45 × 70 cm travels free. Larger luggage needs a separate 23 CZK electronic or 25 CZK paper ticket under the current tariff. A group cannot use one shared passenger ticket; every traveller needs a valid fare.
5. Choose the Headline Activity
🍺 Beer spa: private, memorable and price-sensitive
Beer Spa Bernard currently publishes individual spa sessions from 3,290 CZK and private group rental from 15,900 CZK. Confirm the number of tubs, guests per tub, private duration, beer inclusion, towels, massage add-ons and age rules. Compare the total group price, not an old per-person blog quote.
🛥️ Vltava cruise: easy views, different products
A simple sightseeing cruise is around 450 CZK through the official Prague Visitor Pass listing, while long dinner cruises can start around 1,300 CZK. These are not the same experience. Check pier, duration, reserved seating, food format and whether an evening sailing fits the dinner plan.
👩🍳 Cooking, glass or perfume workshop
A private creative workshop can be a better celebration than another alcohol activity. Ask whether the space is exclusive, how long the finished item takes, and whether every participant can join regardless of mobility or dietary restrictions.
Beer spa does not mean unlimited capacity: multiple tubs may sit in separate rooms, and advertised group rental can be a fixed total. Get a written room plan before collecting money, especially for more than eight people.
6. Nightlife Without the Generic Crawl
🍸 19:00 — reserved cocktail start
Start in New Town or Vinohrady with dinner and a reservation. Hemingway Bar and Anonymous Bar are well-known examples, but large groups must contact venues directly and may need to split. Use current house rules rather than assuming a famous name can take twelve walk-ins.
🎵 22:00 — choose the programme
Roxy, Lucerna Music Bar and other ticketed venues change by night. Pick from the real event calendar and buy through the official channel. The right music night beats a generic “best club in Prague” label.
🌃 00:30 — one late venue and one exit plan
Duplex and central clubs can involve queues, dress decisions and event-specific tickets. Carry photo ID, avoid offensive matching outfits and designate a reunion point. If entry fails, use the backup rather than arguing at the door.
🚋 Return by fixed pairs
Check the night tram in PID Lítačka before leaving the last venue. Nobody walks home alone; each pair confirms arrival in the shared chat. Use only licensed taxis or established apps and compare the number plate.
7. The Weekend Itinerary
1️⃣ Friday: arrive, orient and eat
Airport transfer, check-in, early Old Town and Charles Bridge walk, reserved Czech dinner and cocktails near the hotel. Finish before 01:00 and save the headline outfit for Saturday.
2️⃣ Saturday morning: city before crowds peak
Breakfast, tram to Prague Castle, walk downhill through Malá Strana and cross the river. Pre-book castle interiors only if the group genuinely wants them; the outdoor route is already rewarding.
3️⃣ Saturday afternoon and night
14:30 beer spa, cruise or workshop; two-hour hotel reset; 20:00 dinner; cocktail stop; then the lineup-matched main venue. Put all pins, tickets and the night tram in the plan.
4️⃣ Sunday: neighbourhood recovery
Vinohrady brunch, Riegrovy Sady or Letná walk, optional sauna or café time and one relaxed final dinner. Settle shared bills before packing.
5️⃣ Monday: airport with buffer
Use trolleybus 59 and Metro A when luggage and service allow, or reserve enough vehicles. Activate tickets before boarding and leave a generous airport-security margin.

💳 Collect koruna, do not budget in vague euros
Keep the trip budget in CZK because that is how local cards and menus settle. Avoid dynamic currency conversion at terminals; select CZK and let the traveller’s bank handle conversion.
🧾 Publish what the bride does not pay
If the group covers her room or activity, state the exact share before deposits. Do not quietly spread premium extras across travellers who chose the lower budget.
🤝 One organiser is not one financier
No booking is final until the deadline and payment reach the booking owner. Store cancellation dates and confirmation numbers where at least two people can access them.
