If staying there, verify the after-game walking route and late food options instead of assuming the forecourt remains active all evening.
Use a direct-line test: the hotel should reach La Plaine–Stade de France on RER B, Stade de France–Saint-Denis on RER D, or Saint-Denis–Porte de Paris on Metro 13 without a fragile chain of transfers.
5. Getting to Stade de France
🅱️ RER B: La Plaine–Stade de France
RATP identifies RER B as one of the fastest routes. It is convenient from Châtelet–Les Halles and Gare du Nord. Follow the event signs after leaving La Plaine and use the gate printed on the ticket; the station name is not the same as the RER D stop.
🇩 RER D: Stade de France–Saint-Denis
RER D is another fast option from Gare du Nord and Châtelet. It approaches from a different side, which can make it better for certain gates. Do not automatically follow a friend arriving on RER B if your ticket and hotel make RER D simpler.
